Sometimes we step on things and can get splinters or other items stuck in the toe. If left neglected, what can start as a small splinter can become a foot wound which could even progress into an amputation.
If you feel that you have something stuck in your foot, it is very crucial you visit your family doctor or foot professional in order to have your foot taken a look at.
Today we have an amazing case of a splinter gone missing. A patient suffered an injury where something got stuck in his foot. He was able to take a few of it out but couldn’t discover anything else. His foot was not improving so he went to the emergency room, had x-rays and ultrasounds done, but regrettably nobody could discover anything. After doing more research study, he discovered a foot specialist (Chiropodist) that could help him.
