  • Performs high quality multimodality procedures, according to examination protocol, in a prompt way
  • Keeps production and quality of imaging treatments by following recognized standards and procedures
  • Prepares patient or area for multimodality treatment by placing patient, changing immobilization gadgets, moving devices into defined position and adjusting equipment controls to set direct exposure factors
  • Safeguards patients and workers by adhering to security requirements, infection-control, drug and radiation policies, procedures and techniques
  • Functions with engineers and physicists to make sure optimal operational abilities of equipment; Reports issues to management or appropriate department
  • Preserves medical imaging records in proper system and according to department policies and requirements for interpretation in a prompt manner
  • Takes part with management on quality assurance/control programs to make sure quality tests are performed, devices is tested and maintained, and department performance monitors are satisfied
  • Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) License
