Just keeping it real. I really did not believe I ‘d ever have concerns with my band. Hopefully whatever this is will be remedied. Since the xray in October looked like my band was simply great it’s highly likely that the issue took place in January when I had the stomach flu (24 hour bug). I have not PB ‘d in practically a year, most likely because of the lower fill level I have actually had, so I do not think PBing caused this. I ‘d be lying if I said I ‘d never over consumed however the parts at one sitting are typically well preserved to 1 cup – I do however gain calories by added snacks, mostly in the kind of unnecessary frappes. I did not drink with meals much prior to my band so that’s not been a problem for me. Simply put, I am baffled regarding what this is triggered from however appears to be recently. If it is current it indicates that the reflux is not directly associated with the possible slip … just 2 different concerns. I will have more details from the surgeon tomorow regarding the degree of what he feels is going on. Keep in mind that the xray tech is the one who provided this initial info and he’s not a lapband expert.
