Work Hours/Shift: Fulltime Days
You Will Be Accountable For:
- Participates in instructional sessions to improve abilities as suitable
- Participates in the collection of quality information
- Assists medical staff companies with offering clients with outdoors resources and products
- Helps in identifying and documenting cultural and linguistic needs of clients
- Helps in identifying and recording advanced instructions
- Helps medical personnel and suppliers with getting ER and Healthcare facility details
- Assists in arranging follow up visits as indicated by clinical personnel and providers
Credentials
What You Will Need:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Graduate of an acknowledged Medical Assistant program and radiology program chosen.
- Should be currently accredited and keep certification by among the following:
- American Association of Medical Assistants (” AAMA”) for Certified Medical Assistants
- American Medical Certification Association (” AMCA”) for Clinical Medical Assistant Accreditation
- American Medical Technologists (” AMT”) for Registered Medical Assistant
- National Association for Health Professionals (” NAHP”) for Nationally Registered Licensed Medical Assistant
- National Center for Proficiency Testing (” NCCT”) for National Qualified Medical Assistant
- National Healthcareer Association (” NHA”) for Registered Clinical Medical Assistant
- Present, valid CPR accreditation is needed.
- BMO or Radiology Service technician needed.
- 1-year medical office experience preferred.
- Needs to want to float to other AHMG practices, within factor, when patient load, vacation schedules and so on make it required.
Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant-Radiology Licensed offers appropriate care to clients within the scope of the Medical Practice Act and carries out standard X-Ray treatments. This specific obtains medical, financial and group patient information and assists in client education. Accountable for helping suppliers during the treatment and assessment of clients and administers treatments and treatments as purchased by the service provider.
