These vacuum-sealed x-ray tubes produce man-made radiation known as x-rays.
In this video, you can see an x-ray tube beyond its housing, installed on a wooden platform.
Inside the Pyrex Glass envelope, you can see the tungsten anode (situated on the favorable side of the x-ray tube) which spins rapidly by a stator and rotor during exposures.
Seen in this video, are the dual tungsten filaments within the focusing cup (situated on the negative/cathode side).
The quantity of radiation known as technical aspects (kVp & mAs) utilized for each examination is controlled by the radiologic technologist.
