
Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for
radiological diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for procedural and system controls, problem solving and teaching. Maintains all necessary QC, QA
and documents required by accreditation agencies. Will assist physician tableside with all invasive procedures and post processing and may
participate “on call”.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
High School Graduate
Completion of an approved Radiological Technology Program that meets the requirements set by the ASRT and the New Jersey Certification
Board
Must be licensed by the New Jersey State – DEP and registered by the ARRT
Two years experience as a staff technologist with consideration given for less experience.
BCLS and ACLS required for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and BCLS only for Interventional Radiologic Technologist.
