
- Efficiency of diagnostic medical x-rays with x-ray processing. Understands and follows correct x-ray techniques described in the handbook for Pediatric Associates x-ray scope of practice.
- Responsible for keeping a current Florida Department of Health License (RT or BMO). Keep in compliance with continuing ed. credits and renewal of license.
- Responsible for wearing dosimeter daily and following protocol for di-monthly upkeep of the dosimeter.

- Responsible for reporting last Radiology Reports, consisting of positive and vital findings.
- Performance of lab treatments in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology and Spirometry.
- Perform phlebotomy: consisting of venipuncture, finger sticks and heel sticks.
- Reviews and indications the Lab Policy & Procedure Manual; X-ray Policy and Treatment Manual annually. Understands and follows appropriate laboratory testing strategies detailed in the manuals.

EFFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduation from a Radiology program.
Licensure:
Needed license: Florida Department of Health License (RT or BMO). Florida Department of Health Certified Radiologic Technologist License and American Computer Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or Florida Department of Health Basic Maker Operators License for X-Ray and be in Compliance with Continuing Education credits 24 credits total; 12 per year for both.
Prefer license: Medical Assistant or comparable.
Prefer license: phlebotomist.
Understanding, Abilities & Capabilities:
Knowledge of diagnostic medical x-rays with x-ray processing. Understanding of laboratory quality assurance requirements.
