Work Hours/Shift: 2 days on 2 day of rests, half day on Friday’s, alternate weekends and some vacations.

You Will Be Accountable For:

  • Drives customer care efforts by creating and owning the client experience
  • Carries out fundamental radiological examinations, consisting of all quality controls/clerical duties. Processes reference lab specimens to consist of venipuncture, specimen handling/ labeling, and tracking results.
  • Performs properly and legibly files and reports all treatments and evaluations in accordance with department policy.
  • Using age-specific guidelines, examines patient throughout scientific check-in, files significant medical information and important indications. Evaluates for signs of abuse or disregard.
  • Completes general orders and any follow-up evaluations bought by the supplier, verifying as required. Responds appropriately in scientific emergencies and triage circumstances.

Credentials

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CPR Certification
  • Current State license (if appropriate for state) – General Radiographer (RT) and/ or ARRT Credential in Radiography

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Practice Supervisor and under the supervision of the Providers, the X-Ray Specialist looks after clients and carries out a wide variety of patient care activities, including laboratory screening and radiographic tests. Follows state, federal and organizational guidelines to ensure quality care and client security with support from the Medical Quality team. Is essential in preserving organization and facilitating client flow. Actively participates in outstanding.
