OB Ultrasound Technicians

The OB Ultrasound Professional will perform basic, obstetric ultrasound procedures. The treatments may be performed in the department, in the OR or at bedside. The Sonographer works carefully with the radiologist and other members of the health care group presenting information and images for interpretation and help in any interventional treatments. The tech must demonstrate independent judgment when carrying out procedures and dealing with other uncommon or tight spots. The Sonographer is accountable for examining the images for technical quality and will utilize PACS (picture archiving and communications system) with accuracy. The tech will also accept extra jobs and tasks as required within the department. In some cases might be required to provide on-call rotations protection throughout nights and weekends.
