OB Ultrasound Technicians

The OB Ultrasound Technician will perform general, obstetric ultrasound treatments. The treatments might be carried out in the department, in the OR or at bedside. The Sonographer works closely with the radiologist and other members of the health care team providing data and images for interpretation and help in any interventional treatments. The tech needs to show independent judgment when performing treatments and addressing other uncommon or tight spots. The Sonographer is responsible for examining the images for technical quality and will use PACS (picture archiving and interactions system) with precision. The tech will also accept additional jobs and projects as needed within the department. Often may be required to provide on-call rotations coverage throughout nights and weekends.
