This is an Oral Assistant government contract position at Grand Forks Flying Force Base, North Dakota. Team Positioning is a government contractor on this position.

Oral Assistant Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND

POSITION: Dental Assistant

Place: 319 th Medical Group, Grand Forks Flying Force Base, North Dakota

HOURS:

  • Monday-Friday 0730-1630 for an 8.5-hour shift which includes an uncompensated.5 meal break.
  • 8 hours/ day
  • Not to exceed 40 hours each week.

PAY: $1829-$2116/ hour

POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree: Certificate.
  • Education: Effective conclusion of
  • a military Red Cross oral assistant program

or

  • a military oral technician or dental assistant school

or

  • dental assistant program recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA).

All training should have included a course in radiation physics; radiation biology; radiation health, security, and defense; X-ray movies and radiographic film quality; radiographic methods; darkroom and processing techniques; film mounting; and, digital radiographic processing methods.

  • Experience: Dental Assistant graduate.
  • Certification: Licensed in radiography
  • Standard Life Assistance certificate
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Able to read, compose, and speak English well enough to successfully communicate.
  • Shall be physically efficient in standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically efficient in carrying out all services needed under the agreement and TO.
  • Needs to pass a background check (no felonies, no misdemeanors)
  • Muss pass a drug test

MUST PRESENT:

  • Current resume
  • Oral Assistant diploma (if qualifies)
  • Xray accreditation
  • BLS certificate (can obtain it if not currently readily available)
  • Evidence of citizenship
