You Will Be Accountable For:
- Demonstrates through habits Florida Medical facility Physician Group Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Quality, Stewardship and Teamwork as detailed in the company’s Performance Excellence Program.
- Performs waived laboratory testing and basic radiological evaluations, including all quality controls/clerical tasks. Processes reference laboratory specimens to include venipuncture, specimen handling/ labeling, and tracking results.
- Finishes forensic screening collections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Drug Free Workplace Standards. This might consist of urine drug screens, blood/breath alcohol testing, oral fluids and hair screening.
- Acquires a quick summary of presenting patient’s chief problem. Examines for age-appropriate behavior motor skills and physiological standards of the patient. Documents important indications, allergic reactions, current medications, LMP and discomfort scale limit if appropriate. Examines for indications of abuse or overlook.
- Uses orthopedic gadgets and dressings as bought. Functions properly in scientific emergency situations. Evaluates effectiveness of interventions. Interprets and confirms physician orders correctly. Investigates doubtful scenarios.
- Performs diagnostic testing to include EKG, spirometry, audiometry, titmus, and pulse oximetry to assist in patient circulation. These duties may be included at the discretion of the director/center manager/nursing organizer based upon individual facility requirements.
- Appropriately relays discharge instructions/care to the client or household utilizing authorized after-care guideline tools.
Qualifications
What You Will Required:
- High School diploma/equivalent.
- Present Florida State license: General Radiographer (RT)
- BLS
- AART Windows Registry Preferred
Task Summary:
The LAB/XRAY PROFESSIONAL (RT) Position works closely with physician and other team member to take care of clients ranging in age from pediatric to geriatric and performs a wide variety of patient care activities in an urgent, intense care setting. Performs the duties of a personnel radiological/laboratory professional under the order of a Florida Medical Facility Physician Group physician; performs a variety of lab screening and radiological assessments with a minimum of supervision. Must show independent judgement and initiative. Assumes duty for carrying out radiographic evaluations that are technically satisfactory, properly placed, and processed adequately. Performs lab treatments following accepted OSHA safety measures and CLIA standards. Performs basic scientific tasks to facilitate client circulation. Accountable for QA responsibilities straight associated to lab and radiology. Position is accountable for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients, visitors, customers and team members. Follows all infection control policies and procedures. Is essential in preserving company and assisting in patient circulation to decrease wait times.
