TASK SUMMARY:

Field-based Professional role fulfills all elements relating to installation and service of dental equipment in the professional’s office with the concentrate on “quality” in customer care.

ESSENTIAL OBLIGATIONS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provides accountable repair and installation services to our consumers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Offers and maintains the essential tools of the trade and have readily available to perform setup and repair services.
  • Maintains and manages appropriate levels of stock in van.
  • Attends all required training
  • Complies with all OSHA guidelines as detailed in the OSHA manual and training.
  • Maintains and utilizes personal protective devices when needed.
  • Interacts in a timely way to all essential inside personnel and dispatchers
  • Informs consumers on proper care and maintenance and advises on repairing treatments.
  • Finishes all work orders in a timely manner and submits all job related paperwork within the needed timeframes.
  • Complies with all terms of the Fleet Management Policy consisting of upkeep and accident management policies.
  • Participates in special tasks and carries out other responsibilities as needed.

In addition to the essential tasks and obligations noted above, all positions are also responsible for:

  • Fulfilling company requirements referring to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, carrying out all work associated tasks in a manner that remains in compliance with all Business policies and procedures consisting of WorldWide Organization Standards.
  • Sticking to Company policies, treatments, and instructions concerning standards of work environment behavior in completing job tasks and assignments.

Exercises:

This position requires the delivery, setup and repair of equipment including customers. Technicians will be expected to maneuver large equipment as required. The physical nature of this position, at times, might need significant an/or repeated flexing, stooping and raising.

Certifications

Experience:

  • Ideal Prospects show a minimum of three years’ experience as a customer-facing Field Service technician. Previous oral experience chosen however not required.

Specialized Understanding and Abilities:

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, or comparable and demonstrates experience as a customer-facing field specialist.

Perfect candidate will excel with hydraulics, electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems, as-well-as diagnostics and troubleshooting to element level.

Advanced candidates have a working knowledge of Xray, (consisting of 3d/cone beam/CAT), digital diagnostic devices, PLCs, digital lab devices and have general efficiency and desire to work with computer systems and office– based software application systems.

Other:

  • Strong client interpersonal abilities.
  • High School Diploma, Associates Degree or Technical School Certification is desirable.
  • Needs to be able to abide by business uniform and gown policy and need to be able total all work related jobs making use of business supplied laptop.
  • Legitimate motorist’s license required.
