OB Ultrasound Technicians

The OB Ultrasound Service technician will carry out general, obstetric ultrasound procedures. The treatments may be performed in the department, in the OR or at bedside. The Sonographer works closely with the radiologist and other members of the healthcare group providing information and images for analysis and assistance in any interventional treatments. The tech needs to show independent judgment when performing treatments and attending to other unusual or difficult situations. The Sonographer is responsible for evaluating the images for technical quality and will utilize PACS (image archiving and interactions system) with accuracy. The tech will also accept additional tasks and tasks as required within the department. Sometimes might be required to offer on-call rotations protection throughout nights and weekends.
