OB Ultrasound Technicians

The OB Ultrasound Technician will carry out general, obstetric ultrasound treatments. The procedures may be carried out in the department, in the OR or at bedside. The Sonographer works closely with the radiologist and other members of the health care team providing data and images for interpretation and assistance in any interventional treatments. The tech must demonstrate independent judgment when performing procedures and addressing other uncommon or tight spots. The Sonographer is accountable for evaluating the images for technical quality and will make use of PACS (picture archiving and interactions system) with accuracy. The tech will also accept additional tasks and tasks as needed within the department. Often may be needed to offer on-call rotations coverage throughout nights and weekends.
