Work Hours/Shift: Full-time; Rotating schedule, two days on, two days off (Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm), split Fridays (usually 8am-2pm or 2pm-8pm), alternate weekends (required to work every other weekend, hours are 8am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays), and some holidays

You Will Be Accountable For:

  • Drives customer support efforts by producing and owning the patient experience
  • Performs fundamental radiological examinations, consisting of all quality controls/clerical responsibilities. Procedures reference laboratory specimens to include venipuncture, specimen handling/ labeling, and tracking results.
  • Carries out properly and legibly documents and reports all treatments and assessments in accordance with department policy.
  • Utilizing age-specific guidelines, evaluates client during medical check-in, files pertinent medical information and vital signs. Assesses for indications of abuse or disregard.
  • Completes basic orders and any follow-up evaluations bought by the provider, verifying as required. Responds properly in medical emergencies and triage scenarios.

Certifications

What You Will Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR Accreditation
  • Current Florida State license â” General Radiographer (RT)
  • Must have the ability to operate radiographic equipment and work with electrical and radiant energy
  • Comprehensive understanding of basic radiographic procedures

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Practice Manager and under the guidance of the Suppliers, the X-Ray Specialist looks after clients and carries out a variety of client care activities, consisting of laboratory screening and radiographic examinations. Complies with state, federal and organizational standards to make sure quality care and client security with support from the Medical Quality team. Is vital in preserving company and assisting in patient circulation. Actively participates in exceptional client service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are similarly considerate to all.
