Supplies administrative support consisting of, but not restricted to, the following:
- Takes clients medical history, details pertaining to the clients see to the medical professional and record important signs of patients to assist the physician with diagnosis
- Prepares patients for doctor assessment
- Assists physician with evaluation and treatment of client
- Helps doctor with unique procedures
- Performs standard radiologist tests and supervises the production of x-rays
- Preserves accurate record of all x-ray movies to include suitable log entries, x-ray documentation for jackets and accurate filing of movies
- Collaborates the reading of all x-ray films with physician
- Relays info to clients relating to preparation of laboratory tests and examinations Organizes examining room instruments and devices and keeps the taking a look at rooms cool and clean
- Starting and keeping correspondence with patients and insurance coverage companies
- Respects and keeps privacy and self-respect of clients and assures client confidentiality at all times
2. Other related responsibilities:
- Represents the clinic in a professional way in person, in telephone discussions, and in composed correspondence
- Performs standard functions such as copying, scanning and faxing
- Any other responsibilities as designated
Education and Experience:
1. CPR Accreditation authorized by AHA
Knowledge, Abilities and Abilities:
- Phlebotomy, EKG
- Crucial indications, client evaluation
- Administration of medications (Oral, IM, Sub-q, Intradermal, IV
- Ability to work separately
- Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary
- Attention to precision and information
- Shows a clear understanding of the significance of staff fulfillment
Physical Demands:
People should be able to meet established specific physical requirements of the job including sitting at a desk or conference table, reaching, lifting, pulling, bending, stooping, twisting, standing and strolling.
