Education and Necessary Credentials
HS Diploma/GED
1 – 3 years associated experience
Standard computer literacy including the capability to type on a computer keyboard, use a computer system mouse, and view information on a computer system screen is required.
Workers should have the physical strength and ability to lift and carry a family pet or other object weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Need to be able to assist in lifting patients or other objects weighing more than 50 pounds.
Should have the ability to securely and effectively operate devices relevant to carrying out their duties, consisting of however not restricted to laboratory devices, anesthesia and oral devices, and the xray maker and processor.
Must be able to view physical signs or medical issues, read medical instruments, and follow handwritten directions.
General Task Requirements
Follow all health center standard operating procedures and procedures, both present and future, as included within the training handbooks or as composed or communicated by physicians or other supervisory staff
Carry out all tasks in a professional and courteous way and remain considerate and respectful in speech, tone, and actions under all scenarios
Remain flexible and going to execute new or changing procedures in the future
Follow OSHA standards and be familiar with Product Data Security Sheets. Occupational hazards may consist of but are not limited to animal bite or scratch injuries and exposure to x-rays, anesthetic gases, CO2 Laser, caustic or hazardous products, and zoonotic diseases. Staff members should follow all safety guidelines included in the staff member handbook and posted in harmful locations.
