Work Hours/Shift: Full-time; Turning schedule, 2 days on, two days off (Monday-Friday 8am-8pm), alternate weekends (required to work every other weekend, hours are 8am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays), and some holidays

You Will Be Accountable For:

  • Drives customer care initiatives by producing and owning the client experience
  • Carries out standard radiological assessments, consisting of all quality controls/clerical tasks. Processes reference lab specimens to include venipuncture, specimen handling/ labeling, and tracking outcomes.
  • Carries out effectively and legibly files and reports all treatments and evaluations in accordance with department policy.
  • Using age-specific guidelines, evaluates patient during scientific check-in, documents pertinent medical info and important indications. Examines for indications of abuse or disregard.
  • Finishes basic orders and any follow-up assessments purchased by the supplier, verifying as required. Reacts properly in clinical emergencies and triage situations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or comparable
  • CPR Certification
  • Current State license (if appropriate for state) – General Radiographer (RT) and/ or ARRT Credential in Radiography

Task Summary:

Reporting to the Practice Manager and under the guidance of the Companies, the X-Ray Service technician looks after clients and performs a wide array of patient care activities, including lab testing and radiographic examinations. Complies with state, federal and organizational standards to make sure quality care and client security with assistance from the Medical Quality group.
