Work Hours/Shift: Full-time; hours of Centra Care operation are Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, and 8am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and some vacations

You Will Be Accountable For:

  • Drives customer support efforts by producing and owning the client experience
  • Performs fundamental radiological examinations, consisting of all quality controls/clerical duties. Procedures reference lab specimens to consist of venipuncture, specimen handling/ labeling, and tracking outcomes.
  • Performs correctly and legibly documents and reports all treatments and evaluations in accordance with department policy.
  • Using age-specific standards, examines client during medical check-in, files significant medical info and vital indications. Assesses for indications of abuse or disregard.
  • Finishes basic orders and any follow-up assessments purchased by the service provider, validating as needed. Reacts properly in medical emergency situations and triage scenarios.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or comparable
  • CPR Accreditation
  • Current State license (if applicable for state) – General Radiographer (RT) and/ or ARRT Credential in Radiography

Reporting to the Practice Supervisor and under the supervision of the Providers, the X-Ray Specialist cares for clients and carries out a wide variety of client care activities, including laboratory screening and radiographic exams. Adheres to state, federal and organizational standards to make sure quality care and patient safety with support from the Scientific Quality group.
