OB Ultrasound Technicians
The OB Ultrasound Service technician will perform general, obstetric ultrasound treatments. The procedures may be performed in the department, in the OR or at bedside. The Sonographer works closely with the radiologist and other members of the healthcare group providing data and images for interpretation and assistance in any interventional treatments. The tech should show independent judgment when carrying out treatments and resolving other uncommon or tight spots. The Sonographer is responsible for examining the images for technical quality and will utilize PACS (picture archiving and interactions system) with accuracy. The tech will also accept additional jobs and projects as required within the department. Sometimes may be needed to provide on-call rotations protection during nights and weekends.
