We are searching for inspired people to join our Quality Assurance team in our world-class pork processing center. This person must be a self-starter and deal with limited guidance, a strong work record and excellent participation is a must. Meat processing experience is chosen. Starting pay based on experience

Duties:

  • Total and document primal and sub-primal quality control audits consisting of weights, measurements, and visual evaluations of raw pork items
  • Release or keep product based on audit outcomes, consisting of informing production supervision
  • Monitor adherence to USDA guidelines by monitoring and verifying HACCP and SSOP tasks
  • Perform tracking and verification tasks recommended in HACCP and SSOP plans, including tracking and implementing staff member hygiene habits
  • Total other QA examinations consisting of but not restricted to: boneless meat evaluations, ambient and product temperature level monitoring, Xray and metal detector function checks, chemical concentration confirmations, inspection of product packaging materials, animal handling audits, procedure and procedural verifications

Certifications:

  • Trustworthy and highly ethical
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs repetitively
  • Daily and some weekend overtime needed
  • Going to operate in a variety of environments including warm and cold ambient temperatures

  • Previous meat facility experience, preferred
