Summary

This position is responsible for oversight on all metal detectors and XRays (bone Xray and completed product Xray).

Principal and Necessary Duties & Responsibilities

Guarantees all metal detectors are functional, rejecting accurately, and detecting the confirmation wands accurately.

Observe associate testing is accurate which actions in a failure satisfied Food Safety requirements.

Train associates on proper monitoring/verification activities.

Have the ability to diagnose small problems and understand the repercussions of those problems.

Make sure that any failure recovers all impacted product which it is put on hard hold (SAP) and does not leave the facility grounds.

Total audits on devices BMP’s and assemble scorecards on metrics.

Minimum Education

Experience Requirements

Capability to grasp the mechanics of the detection processes, internal prospect with at least 6 months experience, 2.5 or less attendance points, and no active disciplinary write-ups in file.

Experience Preferred

Environmental Elements and Physical Requirements

Ability to work for 8 hours or more in a fixed standing position or travel on a wet, moist, dry, oily, floors which might include medal or plastic grating surfaces with as much as 4 hours in a single interval.

Ability to work from numerous types of ladders and/or stairs.

Exposure to and work in temperatures between -40 degrees and 75 degrees with ambient humidity.

Sound exposure of 110 db., and light intensity range of 50 to 100- foot candles.

Bending, twisting, raising to 50 lbs., reaching, sitting, and grasping differs in repeatings, range, degrees, angle, weight, heights, longest interval of time, things comprehended, and body positions relying on the upkeep job required.

Exposure to chlorinated water (50 ppm, Ammonia vapors) 5 ppm, solidified carbon dioxide, caustic detergents, lubricating oils, hydraulic oils, and other chemicals found in a poultry processing plant.

Needs to utilize and/or wear protective and safety devices needed for the job.
