KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out general upkeep tasks on building and machines
  • Be able to carry out preventative maintenance on the makers
  • Assist in maintenance and changing small plumbing fixtures
  • Carry out small electrical work not requiring a certified electrical expert
  • Assist in minor carpentry and repair work
  • Maintain equipment, devices, and tools by cleansing, lubricating, greasing, and/or oiling to guarantee optimum working order
  • Carry out associated duties as needed
  • Follow plant defined task requirements and task list
  • Carry out preventive maintenance and make repairs to equipment according to instructions such as changing belts on motors, changing filters, bearings, etc
  • Maintain and make regular repairs to electrically powered equipment and devices according to direction from senior technicians, manager and/or equipment service handbooks
  • Daily gets appointed work order to finish on devices
  • Upon conclusion of work, enters proper details onto worksheet for submission and filing and/or enters into MRP system for filing and tracking
  • Carry out scheduled PMs and visually check and test appointed devices and devices for correct performance
  • Might be needed to order appropriation parts as needed
  • Perform repair work on production machines and/or equipment when a malfunction has actually been spotted.
  • Lay out, assemble, set up, and preserve pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic devices, and repair and change gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related devices.
  • Perform device installations/moves and building maintenance tasks as needed
  • Assist workers in detecting breakdowns in machinery and equipment
  • Establish, coordinate and track job list activities
  • Ensure that a high level of safety is adhered to constantly on and off the production flooring
  • Follow plant specified job specification and job list

CREDENTIALS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven upkeep experience
  • Related degree from a technical school
  • Proficient in the usage of hand and power tools
  • Capability to take apart devices, equipment, or gadgets to remove and change faulty parts
  • Capability to inspect plans, repair work handbooks, or parts brochures as required
  • Capability to use typical tools such as hammers, raises, saws, drills, and wrenches
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing gadgets
  • Experience performing regular maintenance
  • Strong organizational and follow up ability
  • Eye for information
  • Professional discussion and attitude
  • Ability to keep focus while working separately
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work 12- hour shifts
  • Ability to work the night shift
