A Quality Assurance Technician participates in the procedure of ensuring the quality of brand-new and existing software. They will be challenged to update or create ingenious, unique, and initial test scripts based upon provided documents and/or experience with a range of software application and hardware tasks. They execute test plans and test cases, in accordance with established requirements, to confirm programs function properly based upon company and technical requirements.

Necessary Task Functions

  • Review and evaluate company and system specs.
  • Produce and/or keep job introduction pages.
  • Develop in-depth test cases for full system requirement coverage/traceability.
  • Execute test cases (handbook or automated) and analyze outcomes.
  • Create/Run SQL statements in order to produce, upgrade, or verify information.
  • Identify and document application flaws in a central concern tracking system.
  • Makes decisions regarding issue/bug priorities based on company meanings.
  • Report test results and status as proper.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software application development life cycle.
  • Might take lead on little projects with help or assistance.

  • Fundamental SQL knowledge.
  • Basic Linux understanding.
  • General understanding of test design and testing methods.
