Oman’s Ministry of Health has said that a decision to present mandatory chest x-rays for all expats who restore their employment visas is to screen for tuberculosis in the nation.
In addition, the ministry has said that unless the cases they encounter are really major, expats who are found to have TB will be dealt with totally free. A senior official at the Ministry of Health included that the move was taken as part of their continuous campaign to deal with tuberculosis.
